Founded in 1979, The Skin Cancer Foundation (SCF) has set the standard for educating the public and the medical community about skin cancer. It is the only international organization devoted solely to combating the world's most common cancer, now occurring at epidemic levels, and seeks to do so by creating public awareness and educational programs that help people understand the importance of skin cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment.
